Teaching Assistant and Classroom Support

Kingsfleet Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic, caring and committed Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team.

This is a whole-school Teaching Assistant role, with the successful candidate working flexibly across the school according to the needs of our pupils and staff. We are looking for someone with relevant experience of supporting primary-age children and the ability to adapt their approach to different age groups, learning needs and classroom environments. Experience of working with younger children, including Reception-age pupils, would be beneficial.

We are looking for someone who:

 has relevant experience of working with primary-age children;

 can work effectively and flexibly across different year groups;

 can build positive relationships and support children’s learning, wellbeing and independence;

 is patient, reliable, adaptable and works well as part of a team;

 understands safeguarding and inclusive practice; and shares our commitment to helping every child “Be the best you can be!”

A relevant Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification and Paediatric First Aid training are desirable. Candidates must be willing to undertake appropriate training where required.
