Kingsfleet Governing Body

Our Governing Body plays a vital role in supporting and challenging the school to ensure every child receives the best possible education. Governors work closely with school leaders to set the strategic direction of the school, monitor standards and outcomes, oversee finances, and ensure statutory responsibilities are met. Made up of dedicated volunteers from a range of backgrounds and experiences, the Governing Body is committed to promoting high standards, safeguarding pupils, and supporting the school's vision and values for the benefit of the whole school community.

Above all, they share a commitment to ensuring that every child is happy, safe and able to achieve their full potential.

The Governing Body meets as a Full Governing Body once each term to review the school's performance, monitor progress against strategic priorities and ensure that statutory responsibilities are fulfilled. In addition, governors meet regularly through dedicated committees focusing on Personnel, Curriculum, Safety, Health and Wellbeing, and Finance. These committees undertake detailed scrutiny of their areas of responsibility and report back to the Full Governing Body.
